 November 2007: COUNCILLOR JULIAN BROOKSIt is with great sadness that the Parish Council has to report that Cllr Julian Brooks passed away unexpectedly on Friday 9th November 2007. Julian was a Member of the Council for 13 years and carried out sterling work for the village during that time. The Council extends its deepest sympathy to his family. |

 November 2007: REMEMBRANCE DAY in DANBURYThe annual Remembrance service took place in Danbury Parish Church on 11 November 2007, and was followed by a procession to the War Memorial at Elm Green for the laying of wreaths. CONGRATULATIONS TO DANBURY !Our village was Runner Up in the Calor Essex Best Kept Village Competition (Class 1) 2006.Parish Clerk Margaret Saunders received the Certificate on behalf of the village at an award ceremony on 12 July .
