Danbury is a large village
near Chelmsford, with a population of around 6000. Situated on a hill at 365
feet above sea level, it occupies one of the highest points in Essex. The village is surrounded by attractive open countryside and woodland, much of it protected by the Essex Wildlife Trust and the National Trust.
