Danbury is a large village
in rural Essex, with a population of around 6000. Despite its size, our village retains its rural character and community spirit! We are surrounded by open countryside and woodland, much of which is protected by the Essex Wildlife Trust and the National Trust.
Please look around our website for more information about Danbury, its rural setting,
and the schools, businesses and leisure activities available in the village. |

CLLR DERICK HAWKINS
It is with great sadness that the Parish Council has to report the death, on 21 February, of Cllr Derick Hawkins, a long-standing member of the Council and Chairman of the Facilities Committee.
Members and staff of the Parish Council extend their deepest sympathy to Derick's family at this time. |
